Provide technical support and expertise for LAN, WAN, VoIP and wireless voice networks. Recommend, configure, monitor and maintain networking devices such as, but not limited to: routers, switches, firewalls, virtual private networks, intruder detection systems, VoIP systems and network monitoring systems. Assist in the overall design and development of the wide area network as it pertains to telecommunication and routing. Maintain detailed network documentation. Research, analyze and recommend new telephony (VoIP and wireless) and network related technologies. Develop and execute project plans that apply information technologies to business problems.

DUTIES:
<br>
<br>
o Lead and/or assist in the evaluation and recommendation of hardware and software to support local, wide area, VoIP and wireless voice networks.
<br>
<br>
o Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, virtual private networks, wireless networks and other data and voice related hardware and software.
<br>
<br>
o Configure and maintain VoIP systems.
<br>
<br>
o Troubleshoot LAN, WAN and VoIP network related issues using packet capture, syslog and other advanced tools and methodologies.
<br>
<br>
o Maintain detailed network documentation.
<br>
<br>
o Work with other IT team members to maintain LAN, WAN and voice related disaster recovery plans.
<br>
<br>
o Monitor network alarms and statistics and create daily, weekly, monthly and annual usage reports
